Cortez the Killer
Time Travel.

It may seem like science fiction, but it is theoretically possible. We actually are traveling into the future once second at a time. From the time it takes you to leave your house to get the the store and then back to your home, you’ve traveled time. It may not seem like a significant amount has surpassed but it is impossible to stop it and go back into the past. The most familiar instance that enables us from traveling back in time is the Grandfather Paradox. The Grandfather Paradox essentially means if you were to travel back in time and kill your grandfather then you would not exist and therefore not have been able to travel back in time to begin with. Since the past has already happened and there isn’t much you can to to alter it that leaves the future open to whatever you put your mind to. Say we had the means to travel at the speed of light, traveled to a near-by star and then returned to earth. As we would be on the space shuttle we would be the same age as when we left. Time on earth would still be the same but since you would be traveling so much faster you wouldn’t seem to age at all. But when we reach earth again, everything would be significantly older, therefore, traveling forward in time. If my brother was 19 when I left he could essentially be older than I actually am, which is twenty one. It is a hard concept to grasp, and I know I haven’t explained it in a scientific way. But all the information is there, and we are one step closer of achieving the technology.
